White Bean Alfredo Pasta

Quick and Easy pasta dish! The white beans help to make a creamy sauce while also adding the protein to the dish. Very satisfying!

• 2 cups cooked white beans, rinsed and drained
• 6 cups cooked pasta of your choice
• 1/4 cup ghee
• 1 1/2 cups whole milk
• 1/2 cup whole milk cream
• Fresh rosemary and oregano or your choice
• 2 tsp salt, and pepper to taste
• 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
• dash of hing

First cook the white beans, then rinse and drain.

Add your pasta of choice to salted boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes until the pasta is cooked through.

Place all the cooked white beans, a cup of the bean cooking water, salt and pepper to a blender and blend until smooth.

Here is what the beans should look like after blending.

Chop the fresh herbs. I used rosemary and oregano. The center herb is a wild variety version of cilantro/coriander which is grown locally here.

Heat the ghee in a large pot and cook for about a minute.

Then add the blended white beans….

….then the milk and cream.

Stir using a whisk.

Then add all the remaining spices.

Cook for another minute or two and you are done!

Serve over the pasta and you are ready to offer to Kṛṣṇa with love and devotion!

Hare Kṛṣṇa!
