Sesame Yogurt Bread

Super quick and easy sesame seed bread! It’s soft with a crunchy crust! Great for sandwiches or with any meal!

Serves:
4

    •    2 cup white flour
    •    2 cup wheat flour
    •    2 cup plain yogurt
    •    1 tsp baking soda
    •    1 tsp baking powder
    •    3 tbsp sesame seeds
    •    1/4 tsp salt

First place all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. Stir it all up nicely and then add all the wet ingredients.

Mix everything together using a spoon.

Form the dough into a ball still using the spoon.

Now dust the dough with some flour. The dough will be sticky, so dust nicely so that the dough does not stick to your hands.

Coat the outside of the dough with flour and roll into a ball using your hands.

Flour your baking pan. I used a little flour and a little semolina.

Now place the floured dough on top of the baking pan. Shape the dough into any shape you like. I did a rectangle this time.

Then with a sharp knife, cut little lines on top of the dough. Do not go too deep. Now place in the oven and bake at 450F/230C for 20 minutes and then turn down the temperature to 400F/200C and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

Here is what the bread looks like when you take it out of the oven. You know the bread is done when you knock on it and it sounds hollow.

Serve hot or cool! Now you are ready to offer to Kṛṣṇa with love and devotion!
