Fluffy Baked Powdered Sugar Donuts

It is hard to believe that these donuts are yeast and egg free. Super fluffy, soft and melts in your mouth! Kṛṣṇa will love these!

Serves:
2

    •    1 cup all-purpose flour
    •    1/2 cup sugar
    •    1/2 tsp baking powder
    •    1/2 tsp baking soda
    •    1/4 tsp salt
    •    1/2 cup plain yogurt
    •    1 tbsp yogurt cheese whey
    •    doughnut baking pan

First add all the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.

Blend it all together.

Now add all the wet ingredients.

Mix it all up making sure there are no lumps.

Now get a small plastic bag and pour the wet mixture into the bag and tie a knot to seal. Then in one corner of the bag cut a triangle off the tip of the corner to make a small opening so you can pour the doughnut mix nicely into the baking dish without making a mess.

Oil the doughnut baking dish with ghee making sure you do not miss any part. Now pour the doughnut mix nicely into the baking dish without making a mess. Then bake at 375F/190C for 15 minutes.

Here is what they look like when taken out of the oven. The bottom part of the doughnut is darker in color than the top.

Let the doughnuts cool for about 20 minutes in the pan. Then take them out and prepare to powder them.

Dip both sides of the doughnut in the powdered sugar until they are completely covered.

Continue powdering all the remaining doughnuts.

Finished!

Now you are ready to offer to Kṛṣṇa with love and devotion!
