Homemade Condensed Milk Ice cream

This ice cream is totally amazing and so easy to make! Using fresh cow cream is best and will give you a flavor that cannot compare to anything you buy in the stores.
• 3 cups whole milk cream (best directly from the cow!)
• 3 cups homemade sweetened condensed milk
• 1/4 cup cane sugar (optional)
First you will need to make homemade condensed milk. Add 2 liters of whole milk into a large heavy bottomed pot. Cook on high flame until the milk begins to boil. As soon as the boiling begins, reduce the flame to low and add 1/2 cup of sugar. The milk should continue to have a rolling boil. Make sure to adjust the temperature to make sure that the milk is at a rolling boil at all times. Cook for about an hour until the milk and reduced its size to less than half of the original amount. It should become thicker and slightly change to a caramel color. Make sure to stir every 15 minutes! Then turn off the flame and let cool completely.
For the best flavor, use real cream directly from the cow. But if you can’t get that then use the best heavy thick cream you can get. Now combine 3 cups homemade condensed milk, 3 cups cream and 1/4 cup sugar (optional) into a blender and blend until it just begins to thicken. About 2 minutes. Then pour into a freezer container and freeze overnight. That’s it!!
