If you are sometimes clumsy in the kitchen, like me, and burn yourself while cooking, here is a great tip that I have used. Make a paste out of baking soda and a little water. Gently rub on the burn. Let it dry and then rinse off. You will find that the burning pain has completely gone away or is greatly minimized, depending on the severity of the burn. You will see that by the next day you won't feel any pain and the burn will heal nicely. I have used this technique a couple times and it works wonderfully!
